From time to time, it is common for a business to go through a period of difficulties as a result of a number of factors. These could be changes in the market, fluctuating prices, tight equity, climatic adversity or simply the wrong management decisions.

We act independently and are in a position to assist in saving an enterprise as long as it is not too late in the cycle. Whenever a business gets into troubled waters, it is often difficult for the people directly involved to see the solution. We see our role as simply to find solutions and assist in making the difficult decisions. The overall result is to formulate, if possible, a plan to “farm” the business out of the problem. This may require a combination of initiatives which may be re-scheduling debt, changing management practices or bringing in additional expertise. In fact, there are a whole range of possible alternatives but the bottom line is that the business needs to be re-arranged in some form to follow a different, more profitable, direction.
